Reminder to Students...
Students who are not enrolled in an after school activity, must leave the building by 2:45 p.m. Please use the fish bowl to wait for your ride, but by 2:45 you should no longer be in the building. For students who are enrolled in an after school activity, your ride should be here within 15 minutes of the end of that activity.
Calling all singers, dancers, and actors!
Auditions for the Lathrop spring musical "Mary Poppins" will be held on Tuesday, November 4th and Thursday, November 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the choir room.
Please prepare a song from a musical to sing and a 1-2 minute memorized monologue to perform.
Also, be prepared to learn some choreography.
See Mrs. Harvey in room 238 or Mrs. Soderlund in the choir room for more information.
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31ST
Lathrop students are welcome to wear costumes on Halloween but please keep in mind the following:
All weapons, including toy weapons, are not allowed. Leave these at home.
Remember to follow dress code.
Head gear may be worn if it is part of your costume.
Masks or any type of material that covers your face will not be allowed. Have a fun and safe Halloween.

YEARBOOK SENIOR PHOTO DEADLINE NOVEMBER 26TH
Submit a photo electronically to either of the following addresses;
ASVAB testing will take place on November 13th.
If you are interested in taking the test, you may sign-up in the college & career center or the JROTC room.
Seniors: Are you interested in attending UAA?
An admissions representative from UAA will be at Lathrop on Thursday, November 6th to help students apply to UAA. All who participate will receive a UAA t-shirt. If you are interested, see Mrs. Tibbs in the counseling office for more information

BASKETBALL CHEERLEADING SCHEDULE
Open Practices - November 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th and 24th - 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Mat Room. Open to any Lathrop student interested in Basketball Cheer.
MANDATORY TRY-OUTS - December 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th - 6:30 to 9:30 PM in the Mat Room.
YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT SPORTS PHYSICAL TO TRY-OUT!!
YOU MUST BE GRADE ELIGIBLE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A TEAM - 2.0 GPA AND NOT MORE THAN ONE F AT THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER.

If you are receiving a phone call, email or letter regarding your students absence from a class or classes, PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND BY EMAIL
ABSENCES WILL NOT BE CORRECTED VIA EMAIL NOTIFICATION and parent notes are NOT accepted
You must call the office at 456-7794 x 17502 and speak with someone regarding your child's absence or leave a message to excuse that absence.
Policy Regarding Students in the Building After School
The only students allowed in the building after 2:45 p.m. each day will be those students participating in school activities.
Safety Assistants will require all students not participating in school activities to wait in the Fishbowl for their rides, but by 2:45 you should no longer be in the building.
For students who are enrolled in an after school activity, your ride should be here within 15 minutes of the end of that activity.
